Facebook Employees are Addicted to Facebook

A yoga instructor hired to teach yoga to the minions working for Zuckerberg at Facebook's headquarters was fired for not allowing the class participants to use their cell phones in class. Really! I'm sure they just couldn't help themselves. They had to update their status everytime they got in a new pose. "In downward dog. Woof." "Crescent pose-always makes me hungry for Pillsbury Crescent rolls. Must get some for dinner."
According to The San Francisco Gate, the fitness contractor the instructor, Alice Van Ness, worked for was Plus One Management who told her that “saying ‘no’ to Facebook employees is a no-no.” Her termination note read:
"We are in the business of providing great customer service. Unless a client requires us to specifically say no to something, we prefer to say yes whenever possible."
Van Ness does not click like on this. She responded:
"Hello – this is only Facebook. We’re not talking about the U.S. government here. We’re not talking about Russia is about to bomb us. We’re talking about Facebook. Something can’t wait half an hour?"
Good for you, Van Ness, telling Facebook to chill out. But everyone knows, that those bragging status updates can't wait a half hour. They need their friends to know that they are awesome and are doing yoga right now.
